Savannah Paper Endorses Cox

The Savannah Morning News has endosed Cathy Cox with this headline: "Cox Democrats' Best Hope." The full story can be found here.

Here is an portion:

"Ms. Cox's foresight and innovation were rewarded by voters in 2002 when she was re-elected with 60 percent of the vote, garnering the second-highest ballot count in the state. That's a testament to her abilities as well as her character - voters across the political spectrum were comfortable with her bipartisan style as well as her record. That should appeal to Democrats who must pick a candidate who can beat Gov. Perdue in November."

"...we believe her past accomplishments and proven appeal to a wide range of voters makes her the best Democrat to square off against Gov. Perdue in November."

I'm not surprised a Republican paper would endorse CC. She will be easier for their real favorite, Sonny, to win in November.

good for her.

WAITING for her supporters to say this is excellent and that it means something.

Which, you know, wouldn't be consistent.

This is excellent and it means something! There!

So Tina, whats the anger at GA's largest and most influential paper endorsing MT? Is it just because you don't like him and you think no one outside of his campaign does?

Yes Ed-braziers man-this does mean something. Did you see CC prevail in Saturday's debate? If you did you wouldn't admit it so I'm waisting my time.

yea she dominated but only cause it was pretty ordinary.

she needed a homerun, she kind of got a double and was thrown out while trying to stretch it to a triple. (terrible metaphor.)

All MT has to do is not screw up.
