Give 'Um Hill

Today, Sen. Hillary Clinton announced her much anticipated bid for President saying, "I'm in, and I'm in to win." Clinton, Edwards, Obama, and Richardson make this Democratic list of "will runs" or "probably will runs" the most diverse in history. The collective intellect, vitality and charisma of these Democratic candidates makes me proud and makes the likely Republicans look like the cast of Grumpy Old Men. Democrats definitely have the opportunity to take the White House in 2008.

And what about that slogan "Give 'Um Hill"? Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Is Joe Trippe involved in her campaign?

On an unrelated note:
The Carter Conference from UGA is being shown on C-SPAN right now and all day. It is great.

What about Joe Biden? Has he announced?
Whoever writes neocon propaganda and gets it started on the internet is already sending out a quasi-racist screed about Obama, saying he is secretly a muslim (translate to terrorist)sympathizer. To counteract that message when you receive it, go to Snopes and send the link to the person who passed the rumor on to you. I really think that a lot of false political rumors started on the internet are professionally-written propaganda.

Seems to me we have some really fine people stepping forward. Bill Richardson has impressive credentials.
