Rep. Judy Manning (R, Cobb), a veteran Georgia legislator, went on record today with the Marietta Daily Journal saying she "fears" the faith of her party's likely nominee, Mitt Romney. "So why do they have to put ads on the TV just to convince us that they’re normal if they are normal?" asked Manning. Wow. A little tolerance, anyone? Shouldn't we expect more from our elected officials?

Recently, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has engaged in a campaign to educate the public about their faith. According to Bishop Robert Walton of a congregation of more than 400 members in Cobb County, there's a need for education. I'd say so.
